Project Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented master's student to join our team for a thesis project focused on process optimization in oligo-synthesis. The project aims to improve the efficiency, scalability, and sustainability of synthetic oligonucleotide production processes, which are critical for therapeutic and diagnostic applications.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze and map current oligosynthesis workflows (e.g., solid-phase synthesis, purification, and analysis).
  • Design and execute experiments to optimize reaction conditions, reagent usage, and cycle times.
  • Apply statistical tools (e.g., DoE, multivariate analysis) for process optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Document findings and present results in written and oral formats.

Who You Are

  • Master's student in Science or Engineering with a focus on chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field.
  • Eligible for master thesis work between January 2026 – June 2026.
  • Familiarity with tools such as oligo synthesizer, HPLC, LC-MS, or UV spectroscopy is advantageous.
  • Strong communicator with solid skills in both verbal and written reporting.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish.
