About the Role

Are you passionate about automotive technology and hands-on engineering? Join us in maintaining and developing cutting-edge test rigs and vehicles within the ConX domain. You'll be part of a dynamic team working closely with developers, suppliers, and ICaR engineers to ensure test readiness and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update ConX test subsets and test vehicles.
  • Perform software flashing, configuration, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Ensure all rigs and vehicles meet test readiness requirements.
  • Collaborate with ICaR engineers for on-site maintenance and installations.
  • Manage and resolve request backlogs, documenting all work in Volvo Cars' systems (ECF, VPDS, PEF, VCS).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Expected Deliverables

  • Fully functional and up-to-date test rigs and vehicles.
  • Documented maintenance actions and progress reports.
  • KPIs reported according to governance structure.

Your Profile

Must-have:

  • Hands-on experience with HW/SW maintenance of test objects or rigs.
  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems or HIL rigs.
  • Skilled in software flashing, cabling, and fault tracing.
  • Understanding of automotive electrical architecture and test environments.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Meriting:

  • Experience with Vector-based HIL rigs or test benches.
  • Familiarity with EDUs (Electric Drive Units).
  • Previous experience from Volvo Cars or other OEMs.
  • Basic scripting skills (Python, CANoe, or similar).
