In contrast to many other consultancy companies, Piktiv brings in client projects to work on in-house by providing highly skilled fullstack teams instead of individual consultants. At the moment we are looking to add more team members to our largest client — a global leader in the retail forex industry, which is the largest financial market in the world.

You have accumulated years of in-depth experience in software development. Your approach to problem-solving is both creative and practical, ensuring that the solutions you develop are technically sound. Your ability to communicate effectively is paramount, allowing you to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms, and fostering client trust and understanding. This skill enhances your ability to align technical solutions with the client's business needs, allowing you to exceed their expectations.You are not just a developer but a leader within your team.

Your experience positions you as a mentor to junior colleagues, helping them to grow and excel in their roles. Your ability to guide, inspire, and improve the team dynamic is as important as your technical skills.

What you will do:

Working at Piktiv means being part of a cross functional team consisting of you and your Piktiv colleagues. Together you will tackle the tricky challenges that our clients face.

Responsibilities
:

  • Be involved in every step of the development process, from requirements gathering, design, and implementation to testing, deployment, and operations.
  • Actively contribute to the development and evolution of our software solutions, leveraging your expertise to guide the project direction.
  • Mentor and support your fellow developers, helping them grow their skills and knowledge. Your guidance will contribute to building a strong, skilled, and cohesive development team.

Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience working as a software developer.
  • At least 4 years of professional Java experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one front end framework.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Desirable skills:

  • Proficiency in Spring Boot, Oracle Database, PL/SQL, DynamoDB, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems.
  • Experience working with financial systems.
