Do you want to contribute to creating a safe and sustainable work environment in a company that plays a vital role across the entire food value chain? We are now looking for a Health & Safety Specialist to join our Group Functions, someone who is curious about technology and enjoys turning data into insights. In this role, you will work closely with both management and operations to develop smarter, more efficient ways of working within health and safety data and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
This is what you will do
As Health & Safety Specialist, you will be part of driving the Group-wide development work within health and safety. This means being involved in setting the direction, structure and processes for a systematic and proactive H&S approach across the Lantmännen Group.

You will work extensively with insights from digital systems such as Power BI, Workday, and the incident reporting system IA to identify risk areas and improvement potential. You will create data-driven decision support for top management and regularly present trends and analytics to stakeholders. You will actively use and further develop digital tools, and explore new technologies such as AI, automation and analytics, to enhance our ability to predict and prevent risks, streamline processes and simplify reporting.
You will collaborate closely with our divisions and subsidiaries, both in Sweden and internationally. You will lead the Group H&S network and chair the H&S working team, coordinating strategic initiatives and knowledge sharing. You will also be responsible for managing existing trainings, tools and activities that support Lantmännen's H&S goals, as well as proposing and developing new initiatives. You also act as an advisor to HR, managers and other key roles in the organization.
You will report to the Director Industrial Relations and Health & Safety and will be based at our headquarters in Stockholm. Some travel within Sweden and around the Lantmännen group will be required.
This is what you need to succeed
You have
- A relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least five years of experience in health and safety at both strategic and operational level, preferably in a larger organization.
- Solid experience and a genuine interest for working with digital tools and visualization platforms, preferably Power BI.
- Proven experience in working with H&S KPIs, analytics and converting insights into improvement actions.
- Experience in leading development projects, coordinating complex H&S topics and managing networks.
- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
You are
- Analytical, structured and business-oriented.
- Communicative and confident in presenting complex information in an educational way.
- Proactive, self-driven and motivated by improvement.
- A strong collaborator who can work both hands-on and strategically.
- Responsible and solution-oriented.
