About the RoleLinden IT is partnering with a leading financial institution undergoing a major Next Generation Custody (NGC) transformation. The program is building a cutting-edge IT platform designed to future-proof custodial services, enhance operational efficiency, and modernize integrations across critical systems.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of a robust, high-quality platform through test automation, performance testing, and migration validation. You will collaborate across multiple technology and business teams, mentoring testers and embedding best practices to elevate quality assurance across the entire initiative.
Your Responsibilities- Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and cases based on complex product requirements and architecture.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, usability gaps, and performance bottlenecks.
- Lead integration testing and contribute hands-on to building automation frameworks.
- Drive migration and performance testing to ensure system reliability under scale.
- Guide and mentor system and acceptance testers on efficient testing practices within a large-scale program.
- Maintain clear and structured documentation of defects, test results, and processes using established QA tools.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders including Program Test Leads, Product Owners, Architects, Tech Leads, and Project Managers.
- Continuously improve QA processes, introducing new tools, frameworks, and metrics to enhance efficiency and quality outcomes.
- Several years of experience as a QA Engineer or Test Lead, ideally in large-scale or complex system environments.
- Strong technical background — previous experience as a developer or tester is highly valued.
- Deep understanding of test automation frameworks, integration testing, and performance testing tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to quality assurance.
- Experience in stakeholder management across multiple teams and functions.
- Comfortable working independently in a self-directed, agile environment while contributing to team success.
- Ability to define and structure testing tasks, even in ambiguous or evolving project contexts.
- Pragmatic, adaptable, and collaborative — you value progress over perfection.
- Bonus: Familiarity with mainframe systems (e.g., AS/400) or other legacy-to-modern migration projects.
