Are you passionate about ensuring a proactive and comprehensive oversight of the risks within Conduct Risk and Financial Crime Risk and interested in further improving Swedbank Group's risk oversight from a second line of defence perspective?In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
  • Gain insights and ultimately help the Chief Compliance Officer to convey key messages to the Board of Directors and the CEO
  • Support Swedbank's overall strategy through proactive and value-adding analyses
  • Maintain oversight of and assess the Group's Conduct and Financial Crime Risk exposures
  • Contribute and ensure an aligned way of working within Compliance Risk Oversight when it comes to e.g. KRIs and other metrics, frameworks, training and risk assessments
  • Support in the drafting of the quarterly report, following up and quality assure Group Compliance's dynamic risk assessments, support and enable a data-driven compliance risk oversight, amongst other tasks
  • Collaborate with Group Compliance colleagues on compliance matters to secure a holistic understanding of Conduct Risk and Financial Crime risks

With the overall goal of supporting the reporting and management of compliance risks across the Group.

What is needed in this role:
  • A Master's degree in Law, Economics or relevant professional experience
  • Extensive knowledge of either Conduct Risk or Financial Crime Risk, but preferably both
  • A structured, collaborative, and forward-thinking mindset, committed to fostering cooperation and integrity. A strong ability to identify improvements and advising on risk assessments
  • Strong collaboration and networking skills, with the ability to provide assurance to senior management and other key stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions and legal areas
  • Excellent communication skills, including business-level English, both written and verbal. Proven experience in effectively communicating requirements in a clear, pedagogical way
  • Self-driven and adept at managing multiple projects in parallel and delivering in a rapidly changing regulatory and business environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail without losing track of the big picture
