Now, we are searching for a new colleague to join our Safety Department as Safety Analyst & Risk Assessor.

If so, you might be our next Safety Analyst & Risk Assessor. In your role, you will be involved in work across all parts of our operation, and always with safety in focus.
A Safety Analyst & Risk Assessor at Braathens should be thorough and analytical. A natural analyst that provides analytical reasoning and puts a safety perspective to all tasks. As such, you will support other departments in identifying and reducing risk connected to our operation as well as managing change from a safety perspective.
In the position, you will work closely with your colleagues within your own team and with other departments. You possess a high level of integrity and understands the importance of discretion and confidentiality. You involve yourself in discussion and at the same time always consider alternative opinions and solutions. You pay attention to detail in your work, and you are well organised. You possess the ability to plan your own work and to work independently.
In your role as Safety Analyst & Risk Assessor, some of your responsibilities include:
- Classification and analysis of safety reports in Braathens reporting system
- Quality control of reports
- Perform or support incident investigations
- Produce and analyse safety statistics as well as defining safety recommendations
- Facilitate and participate in Management of Change
- Identifying hazards and perform risk assessments and follow up on the effectiveness of mitigating actions
- Administer Safety training program and act as instructor on internal safety training
- Validate and analyse Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) data
We view the following skills as requirements for the role:
- At least five years' experience from Flight Operational work within the airline industry, you could also have another background that we assess as relevant for the role
- Understanding of Human Factors principles within aviation
- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written
- Proven administrative skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with individuals and groups
Additional desirable experience include:
- Experience/training in risk management
- Experience of Aviation Safety work including handling of reports
- Experience from accident/incident investigations
- Knowledge in Microsoft Power BI
- Experience from FDM
- A degree within the fields of Aviation Safety, Human Factors or equivalent

The position is based in Stockholm and will include traveling.
The position is a permanent full-time position with a 6-month probationary period. Starting date is by agreement.
