About the Project
Retailers' mobile app is a key part of our customer engagement strategy, connecting online and in-store experiences. Over the past four years, they built the foundation for e-commerce and integrated app-store functionalities. They are now transitioning toward:
- Enhancing sales (profitability, services)
- Optimizing commercial messaging
- Strengthening loyalty and customer engagement
- Defining channel-specific and cross-experience interactions
The app team consists of 16 designers across Europe. They play a critical role in shaping customer experiences, translating retailers' brand into digital touchpoints, and collaborating closely with retail, product, engineering, and data teams.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior UX/Product Designer to support retailers' app design initiatives. This consultant will work closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to create human-centered, intuitive solutions.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about solving complex UX challenges, balancing business goals with customer delight, and influencing cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design for retailers' mobile app (discovery to delivery).
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure seamless execution.
- Align app experiences with retailers' design system and web touchpoints.
- Mentor junior and mid-level designers; foster a culture of feedback and continuous improvement.
- Champion accessibility, inclusivity, and sustainability in all design solutions.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in UX/product design, with a strong mobile app portfolio.
- 2+ years designing for loyalty, rewards, or engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in UI design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
- Experience working in cross-functional product teams using agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Experience designing for iOS and Android mobile/tablet viewports.
