Who are you? We are looking for a proactive, positive and technology driven Epic Owner to the Cab Climate section, within Thermal Management Technology stream. You will lead Epics / Capabilities within both Software, Hardware and Functional Development with focus on development of Cab Climate for all kinds of drive lines (combustion engine and electric). Cab Climate is a SW heavy area so preferably you have experience from leading SW and functionality development.
As a person, you can take own initiatives and drive them forward with a business and customer mindset. You have excellent communication skills & good at networking with people. You also have a positive attitude and adapt to changing conditions.
Relevant Experience:
To be successful in this role, we believe you have the following experience/background:
• M.Sc in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic engineering or similar technical field of study or equivalent work experience
• Experience from Agile development
• Experience from Automotive industry
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Thermal Management and Cab Climate system development is a great merit
• Volvo experience in project management (PME / PM / Epic leader / System leader) is a merit What's in it for you? As an Epic owner for Thermal Management you will work closely with the complete Thermal Management department and many other cross functional teams to lead the thermal system solution.
You will plan, follow-up and deliver complex Industrialization projects with multiple deliveries with major business impact, or multi-projects grouped together, often with other project managers delivering to the program, according to agreed scope, budget, time plan and quality. You will lead complex technical development in a true X-functional surrounding.
