Hello I'm Pia Wigren, Retail Financial Controlling Manager. We are now looking for a Finance Controller to join us on an exciting transformation journey as we implement a new SAP system and strengthen our team for one year. This is a temporary assignment for 12 months starting in March 2026 – a great opportunity for someone who wants to contribute, grow, and make a real impact.

In this role, you will work as a Financial Controller with a special focus on supporting our largest projects and their project managers. You will play a key role in ensuring financial steering, compliance, and insights throughout the project lifecycle. You will support the project manager with financial support as well as being responsible for monthly checks and re-bookings related to projects. You will work in SAP.

To succeed in this role, you have a background in finance, controlling, economics, or equivalent experience. You bring hands-on experience in project follow-up, monthly closings, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will be a key player in our SAP implementation, focusing on the project controlling part in SAP.

Your main responsibilities will be ;

Establishing and maintaining financial follow-up for various projects, tracking costs and performance.

Collaborating closely with different stakeholders both locally and centrally.

Guaranteeing high-quality monthly closing and year-end reporting for various projects.

Reviewing and challenging reported actuals and providing the first level of commentary.

Being responsible for the financial reporting for various projects.

Collaborating closely with Project Managers, Business Navigation, and Business Analysts to gain insight into costs, performance, and support in forecasting and budgeting.

Securing and maintaining connections with and between core areas, business owners, group functions, and process teams within the Ingka Group.

Support end users in the new system, answer questions, and ensure smooth process execution.

The CFO team is supporting 22 IKEA stores, 12 smaller Customer meeting points, 3 Remote Customer Meeting Points as well as the regional Central fulfilment units.
