About the position
In this position you will be part of a team, within the Research & Developme nt organisation, at the headquarters in Lund. The team today consists of 10 colleagues working mainly with early stage development activities, covering Camurus' future products and projects. You will work in an open, supportive and international environment.

As Research Scientist you work both with in-house projects as well as in collaboration projects with external partners. Your work will focus on laboratory tasks including formulation development, solubility and stability studies, physico-chemical characterization of formulations and documentation of results. Other assignments could include instrument and chemical inventory responsibilities, writing or revising of pharmaceutical development procedures and/or SOP's as well as batch documentation and manufacturing of materials for preclinical testing. There will be room for exploratory work and evaluation of new ideas will always be encouraged. You will spend a lot of your time in the laboratory – but no two days will be the same

Candidate profile
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor or Master of Science degree within Natural Science (Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or similar). You have excellent laboratory skills, and it is an advantage if you have experience from working in an ISO/GMP/GLP environment. Additional knowledge and hands-on experience with peptide chemistry is an advantage.

Excellent communication and documentation skills (oral/written) in English are required and you have a proven track record of efficient documentation and writing reports for internal and external use.. You are used to work in MS Office.

You have the ability to perform challenging laboratory tasks,are energetic, curious and outgoing with a strong drive. You are motivated by working both independently and in a team in a structured and goal-oriented way. Furthermore, you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and team-oriented environment.
