We are looking for a manager for System and Product Management at PU Integrated Systems within the Business Unit Surface Sensor Solutions. In System and Product Management, the focus is on the overall system design and integration of subsystems and components into a cohesive, functional system.
 

The Business Area Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, surveillance and decision support, and threat detection and protection. The portfolio includes airborne, ground-based, and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems, and command and control solutions.

The Business Unit Surface Sensor Solutions is part of Surveillance and has more than 2,000 employees globally, with a strong presence in Sweden, Finland, Germany, and the UK.

Surface Sensor Solutions provides ground-based and naval radar and electronic surveillance solutions. The business unit has a strong presence in the global defense and security markets, maintains close relationships with customers, and engages in rewarding international collaborations.

As a manager, you will oversee a team of system, product, and verification engineers. You and your team will be responsible for the technical solutions in programs and complex projects within Surface Sensor Solutions. The unit will consist of 5-10 employees, with the potential to grow. You will be part of the PU Integrated Systems Management team.

We are looking for a person with a passion for our products and a strong belief in the competence and commitment of our employees. As a manager, you will demonstrate strong communicative leadership skills to create commitment and energy within the organization. Your ability to establish a performance-driven culture within your unit will be important. You should have an interest in technology and a desire to continuously evolve our products and improve customer satisfaction. Surface Sensor Solutions is on a strong growth trajectory, and as a leader, you are expected to drive continuous improvements and identify new operational opportunities to enable our growth.

We also want you to have competence and experience in the majority of the following areas:

• Experience in system design or product development.
• Experience in system integration and verification.
• Experience in leading and coaching people.
• The ability to combine strategic thinking with operational actions.
• Strong business understanding and customer focus.
• A coaching leadership style and the ability to build relationships within and across the organisation.
• A genuine interest in developing organisations, teams, and people.
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
