Role Overview

We are seeking a
Test Engineer
with expertise in both manual and automated testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions. The ideal candidate will be skilled in
test planning, execution, defect management, and automation frameworks
and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    test plans and test cases
    for manual and automated testing.
  • Execute tests, track defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Develop
    automation scripts
    using tools like
    Selenium
    and maintain automation frameworks.
  • Perform
    regression testing
    and
    User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    to ensure stable releases.
  • Analyze test results, report coverage and effectiveness, and provide feedback during
    design reviews
    .
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for test plans, cases, and outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
    .
  • 6–8 years
    of experience in manual and automated testing.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Selenium
    and automation frameworks.
  • Programming knowledge in
    Java
    or
    Python
    for automation scripting.
  • Experience with
    test management and defect tracking tools
    (e.g., Jira, ALM).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • ISTQB certification
    is a plus.
