Senior QEHS Manager

As the Senior QEHS Manager, you will be responsible for approximately 35 employees with 10 direct reports at our site in Götene. Your team includes team leaders, quality coordinators and QEHS specialists. Through your daily leadership, you will ensure that safety first always is on top of the agenda and goes hand in hand with food safety, quality and environmental considerations and when employees work around the clock to deliver well-known brands like  Bregott,  Arla Svenskt Smör, Wästgöta Kloster, Billinge and our other great products.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Lead and develop the team to solve challenges and find the right solutions in safety, food safety, quality and environmental aspects.
• Ensure a motivating work environment and wellbeing through inclusive leadership.
• Promote knowledge sharing and competence development.
• Ensure the site complies with applicable legislation, standards, policies and customer requirements, including maintaining certifications.
• Anchor and role model a lean/safety/quality/food safety/continuous improvement culture on site.
• Manage, train and coach colleagues and stakeholders in QEHS.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across Sweden and with Arla's central QEHS organization; be part of the QEHS Management Network for Sweden and Finland.
• Support management in identifying causes of safety and quality challenges and drive solutions.

• Strong focus on Food Safety regulations agenda.

We expect you to:

• Hold a university degree in food chemistry/technology, microbiology, or environmental technology.
• Bring a background from the food, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry.
• Demonstrate solid experience in food safety (e.g., HACCP, food safety culture).
• Work confidently with global customers.
• Drive change management and apply LEAN principles.
• Communicate effectively at all levels.
• Be fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
