Are you passionate about building scalable ML infrastructure and enabling advanced analytics? ICA Sverige is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data Science & AI team in Solna.

About The Role As Senior Machine Learning Engineer
As a senior engineer, you will take technical ownership of our ML infrastructure and play a key role in enabling ICA's AI capabilities. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to build and maintain production-grade machine learning systems. Your mission is to transform prototypes into robust, scalable solutions that deliver business value across ICA.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and maintaining data pipelines and ML infrastructure in GCP.
  • Automating model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Supporting teams with technical challenges and cost optimization in cloud environments.
  • Driving best practices in MLOps and contributing to strategic AI initiatives.

Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone with:

  • A Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Hands-on experience deploying ML models in production and MLOps tools and techniques (e.g. experiment tracking, model versioning, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred), BigQuery, Docker, Terraform, and SQL.
  • Fluency in English is required. Swedish is a plus.
