We are now looking for a Technology & Architecture Lead to join our Group IT team.

Requirements

YOUR ROLE

In this key position, you will take overall responsibility for shaping and strengthening SSC's technology landscape, spanning infrastructure, cloud, workplace, security, and software development. Reporting directly to the CIO and serving as a member of the Global IT management team, you will act as the connecting link that ensures our technical environment truly supports SSC's long-term mission and business ambitions.

As a trusted advisor to the CIO and divisional leaders, you will translate business goals into modern, sustainable and secure technology solutions. You will help set priorities, challenge existing structures where needed and drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with practical execution. You are a confident technical leader who builds trust through deep expertise, collaboration and sound judgment.

You will also:

• Set the overall technical direction for SSC's IT and software environments, ensuring coherence across all domains.
• Lead our Cloud First journey and drive modernization initiatives across SSC's divisions.
• Advise the CIO ,and senior leadership on architecture, prioritization and technology investments.
• Promote collaboration between IT, software development and business functions to ensure aligned and sustainable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with NIS2, ISO 27001, and SSC policies.
• Safeguard technical integrity by ensuring quality, security and scalability in everything we deliver.

Responsibilities

WHO YOU ARE

You are an experienced technical leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. You enjoy creating clarity in complex environments and know how to balance innovation with structure.

You can communicate equally well with developers and executives and have the confidence to guide others through change.

We believe you have:

• A solid background (15+ years) in IT infrastructure, cloud, or software engineering leadership.
• Deep understanding of how software and infrastructure come together in modern, cloud-based ecosystems (preferably AWS).
• Proven ability to lead across diverse technical domains and integrate governance with execution.
• Experience in complex in-house developed systems and cloud transformations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience from technically advanced or regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, or telecommunications is highly valued.

LOCATION

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our office in Solna, with the possibility to work in a hybrid setup.
