About The Opportunity

Within our Buildings and Infrastructure European Growth & Sales team, we have an immediate requirement for a Tender Coordinator in Sweden, based in Stockholm, to work on sales pursuits of various sizes, primarily in Sweden. This role will expose you to the heart of the business, sitting at the forefront of delivering on our Strategy European Roadmap.

Our Proposal Coordinators support the disciplined application of our Relationship Based Sales process to achieve successful growth outcomes for the business. This role will provide the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our sales process and hands-on experience of the various roles and functions, providing a sound foundation for a career in Growth and Sales.

As a growing business in Sweden, primarily you will work day-to-day on sales activities, supporting the development of win strategies and compelling sales messages, gathering evidence of successful delivery of similar work from across the business, and collaborating with Sales and Operations colleagues across all sectors to put together offers for our pursuits, primarily in Sweden. Alongside the sales work, there will be additional support for our business functions as our business grows in Sweden, including finance, administration, HSSE, procurement and legal.

This role requires drive, diligence, and a curious, inquisitive nature, challenging our teams to identify innovative solutions to respond to our clients' and society's greatest challenges.

Along with experience working within successful teams on large and/or complex projects, we are looking for people who are good communicators, with a disciplined approach, attention to detail, and a passion to win.

  • Experienced at working with teams within fast-paced environments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish
  • Other language skills desirable including Danish, Norwegian and German.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to establish and meet deadlines
  • Strong organisational and research skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage, coordinate, write, review, and edit text, graphics, and metrics for sales documents such as proposals, qualifications, and presentation slides.
  • Good interpersonal skills to participate in meetings and workshops and build relationships across Growth & Sales and Operations.
  • Strong capability in Microsoft applications.
  • A proactive, self-motivator, able to work under your own initiative.
  • Willingness to research Jacobs capability across the company using Knowledge Management Tools, communicating with and interviewing with technical specialists and growing a network with sales colleagues globally.
  • Ability to grow a good internal network across the business and our employee networks.
  • Potential and drive to grow and develop within Jacobs' Growth & Sales team.

Previous sales experience is desirable, but not essential, and all technical and professional backgrounds will be considered. On the job training will be provided.
