About the position

The position at Maurten is responsible for managing and optimizing supply chain processes, including sourcing raw materials, inventory management, and logistics. The role focuses on ensuring efficient operations, minimizing costs, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The role will be operational and tactical through collaboration with internal teams and external partners. And, ensures that Maurten's supply chain runs smoothly, supporting the company's growth and ability to meet customer demand. Experience outside Sweden is a plus for this role.

Job responsibilities

Primary Duties and Tasks:

• Procurement: Source raw materials or products from suppliers according to given instructions.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.
• Logistics and Distribution: Organize the transportation and distribution of goods from suppliers to producers efficiently.
• Demand Forecasting: Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast future demand, enabling better planning and resource allocation.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Master Data Management: Maintain and develop current master data, including planning parameters, item creation, and pricing management.

Developing Tasks:

• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency within the supply chain.

You are persistent, tackling challenges head-on, and open-minded, ready to adapt and explore new ideas. Your ability to solve problems both logically and creatively will help drive improvements and find innovative solutions.

In addition, we are looking for someone that has:

• 2+ years of experience in supply chain management, formal education is a plus but not required.
• Basic Excel skills required; advanced skills are a plus.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English & Swedish

This is an interim position covering a parental leave, and is expected to last approximately nine months, ideally starting in December/January
