Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Tester / Test Lead to join an agile delivery team working on multiple applications built on the Pega platform. This role combines hands-on testing with a leadership element, supporting and guiding other testers while helping improve testing practices and ways of working.

You will work closely with Business Analysts, Software Engineers, a Solution Architect, a Scrum Master, and a Product Owner within a well-established agile setup.

Key Responsibilities

Perform hands-on QA and testing activities across several Pega-based applications.
Support and guide other testers and BAs with test planning, execution, and prioritisation.
Act as a senior testing reference within the team, proposing improvements to testing processes and ways of working.
Contribute to test strategy, test design, and test execution in an agile environment.
Collaborate closely with developers and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliveries.
Support regression testing, defect management, and quality assurance across releases.
Communicate clearly on test status, risks, and quality metrics.

Required Experience

Strong experience as a Senior Tester or Test Lead in agile delivery teams.
Solid background in QA and software testing methodologies.
Experience working in agile / Scrum teams.
Ability to mentor, support, and guide other testers.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Fluency in Swedish (mandatory).

Nice to Have

Experience testing Pega applications.
Background in insurance, pensions, or banking domains.
Experience working with complex, business-critical systems.

Team & Working Model

Agile team of around 10 people including BAs/Testers, Developers, Architect, Scrum Master, and Product Owner.
Responsibility for developing and maintaining multiple enterprise applications.
Hybrid working model with minimum 2 days onsite per week.
