Company Description

Ochno AB is a Swedish innovator specializing in crafting
design solutions for tech problems
encountered in various meeting spaces.

Our primary aim is to streamline connectivity by consolidating all necessary components into a single cable.

This approach eliminates waiting times, cable clutter, and frustration. Our intelligent socket integrates power, video, and communication capabilities—enabling seamless integration with smart IoT services. Users simply connect their USB-C cable to Ochno's socket, and the system takes care of the rest, ensuring smooth and productive work experiences.

Our infrastructure delivers cutting-edge capabilities, providing power and communication support for a wide range of connected devices in both building and office environments. Leveraging the USB-C standard as our foundation enables us to create a highly adaptable solution that is simple to install, configure, and operate. Given the ubiquity of USB-C in modern devices, our platform offers a robust and familiar framework for enhanced user experience and efficiency.

We are looking for individuals with a strong passion for programming and experience in embedded software development to join our mission to shape the future of meeting room collaboration.

We are seeking a tech-savvy, forward-thinking, and passionate team player who is not afraid to explore the unknown and enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Most importantly — we are looking for someone who wants to be in it to win it as part of a team

We work in cross-functional development teams, where continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing are part of everyday life. All embedded software is developed in-house. While your primary experience lies in embedded software development, an interest or background in hardware design is a valuable advantage for understanding the synergy between hardware and software innovation.

At Ochno, you will work closely with your peers on in-house projects. To thrive in this role, you need to be a collaborative team player who communicates well and enjoys working with others. We value curiosity, willingness to learn, and readiness to take on new challenges — thriving in an environment where you can combine your programming expertise with your problem-solving skills.

Please note that your responsibilities may evolve over time as we continuously develop our business and improve our ways of working.

This position is based at our Västerås office, where you will collaborate closely with our international team and have direct contact with your manager.

Additional Information

At Ochno, you will contribute to developing innovative and sustainable solutions. We are always looking for top talent to help shape the society of the future together with us. We hope you will learn as much from us as we will learn from you.

As part of the interview process, you will be asked to confirm your citizenship
— either with a passport or a personal certificate combined with valid photo ID. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must provide proof of a valid work permit (or exemption). Employment can only commence once the work permit has been verified, in accordance with Swedish regulations.

We respectfully ask that recruiting and consulting companies refrain from contacting us regarding this position.
