Wanted Experience:
- CREO
- Volvo's system e.g. KOLA
- Steel structure design (in this case designing a crash structure for a Fuel Cell Vehicle)
- Cast iron design
(position typically requires 10 years or more relevant experience)Develop design engineering documentation, such as drawings and CAD modules. Mature the product in the CAD system. Redesign existing models (e.g., redesign of small areas etc.) Product and procedures are given; however, the work requires experience and the capacity to perform analysis and draw conclusions. Design components in CAD. Create assemblies of CAD models, and detect, report, and resolve packaging conflicts. Secure quality and readiness before release. Define how to use the drawing as the basis for verifying the product's geometrical properties. Produce technical drawings that are sufficient to define a product. On Expert level the employee is a recognized expert in CAD Engineering typically obtained through advanced education and work experience (position typically requires 10 years or more relevant experience).
- Experienced project lead and an established coach, mentor and educator to others in VG
- Known subject matter expert and a natural goto person for complex discipline related issues
- Strong Tshaped profile (either building deeper discipline excellence or developing mature generalist toolbox)
- Known product owner, often contributing to project roadmaps/strategies within context of industry trends
- Clear articulation of value creation by joining up the dots between their work and the TD/BA strategy.
