IT Infrastructure Technician

IT Infrastructure Technician - Sweden - 6 months+

You must be able to work onsite in Gothenburg and speak Swedish and English.

Provide 1st and occasional 2nd line support to maintain stable, efficient engineering environments.

Work closely with local and global teams to deliver and enhance IT infrastructure for test labs, simulations, and specialized hardware setups.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver time-critical support for engineering applications and lab infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot local IT and user issues, collaborating with global support.
• Manage SLAs and stakeholder communication to ensure high service quality.
• Guide and support the offshore Time Critical Support team.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Perform planned and emergency upgrades to reduce risks and downtime.
• Maintain engineering systems (e.g., Test Cell, HIL, VR, IoT devices).
• Participate in on-call rotations and global IT initiatives.
• Use ServiceNow and follow ITIL processes for incident and service management.

Required Competencies

• Broad IT knowledge: hardware, software, and network support.
• 5+ years in IT infrastructure or technical support.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Customer-focused, calm under pressure, and fluent in Swedish and English.
• Adaptable, innovative, and interested in new technologies.

Desirable

• ITIL Foundation certification (required).
• SAFe Agile certification (advantage).
• Experience in engineering or R&D environments.
• Basic network knowledge is a plus.
