About the position

On behalf of a leading Nordic bank, Perido is now looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join an advanced and highly skilled payments organization. The bank operates in several markets and plays a key role within a large financial group. You will become part of a professional, driven, and collaborative environment, working closely with both business and IT stakeholders in a major transformation program. The position is based in Solna, with the possibility to work remotely at times.

Your daily tasks

As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you will take a leading role in driving requirement work and supporting the development of modern payment solutions. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Taking the lead in planning, coordinating, and driving refinement activities
• Gathering, analyzing, and translating business needs into clear functional and system requirement specifications
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including:
• Business and operations experts
• Product management
• Architects
• Development teams
• QA and other subject-matter experts
• Defining scope and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions
• Working closely with development teams, especially backend developers and testers
• Managing multiple initiatives in parallel in a fast-paced and complex environment

You are proactive, pragmatic, and adaptable, taking initiative even when starting from vague or incomplete information. You thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy coordinating across teams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You are structured, analytical, and solution-oriented, with a strong attention to detail, and you handle complex situations and multiple initiatives with confidence.

Qualifications:

• At least 15 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in agile environments
• Solid experience in documenting requirements in a clear, structured way
• A strong technical background, including: technical education and hands-on experience as a developer or tester
• Experience of handling multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously
• Proven ability to coordinate across teams and communicate with stakeholders at different levels
• Experience gathering requirements directly from stakeholders through workshops and interviews
• A strong track record of close collaboration with development and QA teams
• Fluency in English

Meritorious:

• Fluency in Swedish
