About The Role

As our Senior Frontend Developer at Xensam in Stockholm, you will work hands-on and become a proactive technical leader with a strong drive to solve complex problems. You'll contribute across the entire product portfolio and support the team by providing technical guidance and stepping in wherever your expertise is needed.

Responsibilities

You will design, develop, debug, test, and enhance high-quality frontend features and integrations using JavaScript and TypeScript. You will collaborate closely with UX Designers, Product Owners, backend, and database developers to deliver great user experiences and ensure accessibility. Furthermore you will:

• Take ownership of the technical direction for frontend development, drive architectural decisions, and act as the go-to person for technical guidance during planning, estimation, and reviews.
• Guide the technical execution of projects, ensuring alignment with product goals, scalability requirements, and timely delivery.
• Ensure best practices across development, including CI/CD pipelines, code structure, testing strategies, and maintain high standards for code quality and performance.
• Apply modern security best practices and OWASP guidelines across all development activities.
• Promote engineering excellence by reviewing peers' work, providing constructive feedback, enforcing best practices, and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development, including debugging, testing, and optimizing modern web applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with deep experience in React and state management libraries such as MobX.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, asynchronous programming patterns, and REST API integration.
• Proficient in Git or similar version control systems, and experienced with utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding, authentication protocols (OIDC, JWT), and error handling.
• Good understanding of relational databases and frontend-backend interaction.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Experience mentoring, reviewing code, and upholding high standards.
• Comfortable leading technical discussions, architectural decisions, and owning frontend initiatives.
• Good communication skills and a strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Preferably a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
