Are you a Finance Business Partner with experience in Controlling ready to make a significant impact on a global organization?

In this key position you will be a strategic business partner to the Cluster directors, ensuring robust financial planning, cost control, and performance management in alignment with global corporate objectives.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and proactive team member to join our Business Services team in The Nordics

Reports to: Cluster Business Service Manager with a dotted line to Subregional Finance Director

Your Impact in This Role

As Senior Controller, (internally called Business Services Representative) your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Financial Leadership

• Drive cluster-level financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Deliver monthly performance reviews with analysis of variances (actuals vs. plan/forecast).
• Partner with operations to drive profitability and efficiency.

Cost Control & Analysis

• Monitor manufacturing cost structures including standard costing, variances, and inventory valuation.
• Analyze production metrics, material usage, labor, and overhead absorption.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives in collaboration with production and supply chain teams.

Reporting & Compliance

• Contribute to monthly closing processes
• Prepare and present timely financial reports to local and corporate stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements (IFRS/GAAP/local).
• Contribute to internal and external audits process.

Business Partnering

• Act as a financial advisor to the Baskarp Cluster Operations and Sales directors
• Support capital investment decisions with business case analysis and ROI modeling.
• Participate in strategic projects (automation, expansion, ERP upgrades, etc.).

Additional Supporting Roles

• Act as an Expert for other Sibelco controllers in Controlling processes and particularly in Standard costing and Manufacturing P&L
• Provide coaching and advice to other controllers

Requirements:

• Master's degree in economics or business or comparable degree/qualification
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Manufacturing controlling/FP&A
• Strong SAP knowledge and experience in standard costing and manufacturing PL
• Good knowledge of VAT legislation
• Knowledge of the principles of finance and accounting, budgeting and cost control
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and with strong level of accuracy

• Possess strong team spirit with the willingness to help others within the team and across the organization

• Be a quick adaptor to new technology tools and processes
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• The right to live and work in Sweden is required
• Fluent English language ability in both written and spoken
• Working knowledge of Swedish
