Sustainability Specialist, Sourcing

At Husqvarna Group, we're committed to shaping the future of sustainable sourcing. We're now searching for a Sustainability Specialist, Sourcing to join the Sustainable Sourcing team within our Forest & Garden Division (F&G). In this role, you'll play a key role in embedding sustainability into our global sourcing practices—helping us and our partners make better choices for people and the planet.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to actively contribute to advancing environmental sustainability within sourcing, combining strategic thinking with hands-on collaboration to influence how we and our suppliers act on environmental responsibility.
About the RoleIn your role, you'll support and co-drive sustainable sourcing initiatives in our supply base, working closely with suppliers and internal teams worldwide. You'll contribute to both strategic development and operational execution, helping integrate sustainability into sourcing decisions and daily operations. Your work will be key to ensuring that sustainability is not just a goal, but a practical and measurable part of our sourcing operations.
You'll be part of our Sustainable Sourcing team, reporting directly to our Sustainable Sourcing Director. The team's mission is to incorporate a sustainable perspective wider into sourcing operations, allowing Husqvarna to play a more substantial role in sustainability.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Support sourcing teams in applying sustainability principles in sourcing decisions and daily operations — ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and the company's sustainability goals, while promoting a more responsible and future-fit supply base.
Develop, drive and support in initiatives related to CO₂ emissions reduction, materials and circularity — key focus areas for the team.
Track and follow up on sustainability-related KPIs, ensuring accurate and timely data input and documentation.
Contribute to risk assessments, due diligence processes and the development of sustainable sourcing routines.
Participate in group-level ESG projects by supporting data collection, analysis, and follow-up activities.
Drive and support process development, digitalization and automation efforts to streamline sustainability processes and improve efficiency.
This role is based in Huskvarna, Sweden. We offer a flexible hybrid work setup, with an expected on-site presence of 2 to 3 days per week.
Who You AreYou're curious, structured, and motivated by a purpose-driven career. You thrive in cross-functional environments, enjoy tackling challenges and are passionate about sustainability. You're confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders — from sourcing colleagues to external suppliers — and you take initiative to lead and support projects that push our sustainability agenda forward. With a continuous improvement mindset, you're eager to help strengthen the environmental focus of our sustainable sourcing efforts and contribute to long-term impact.
In addition, you have:
A university degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience working in a role with a strong focus on environmental sustainability — ideally within sourcing, supply chain, or ESG-related functions — including efforts to reduce CO₂ emissions.
Familiarity with sustainability assessments and ESG compliance.
Strong analytical skills and attention to details and a proactive mindset.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Experience working in a global setting is considered a plus.
