Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Design Leader with impeccable taste, a trained eye for design and strong attention to detail to join us at H&M HOME. Whether you are a Designer with a background in Fashion, Home Textiles or Hard goods we would love to hear from you. As our Assortment Designer you will lead the creative direction and our design team to successfully create current and commercial assortments on a global level that generate meaningful growth, profitability, and customer value.

What You'll Do....
- Be a visionary and creative manager for the Assortment team(s)
- Research, analyse, and act on future trends and consumer shifts relevant for the target customer(s)
- Independently and proactively drive the H&M HOME design direction by being innovative, forward leaning and clear with a strong design eye.
- Set a clear creative goal and keys, in line with H&M HOME design direction and assortment strategy
- Passion and skills to be staff responsible for the design team and drive learning, development, and high performing team including feedback and follow up
- Collaborate to set and drive the assortment strategy
- Collaborate to secure a current and commercial assortment for every region and channel
- Cross-collaborate to realize a customer experience in line with set creative goals
- Collaborate to secure recruitment and succession for the Assortment design teams
- Collaborate to realize the development agenda
- Create customer value, meaningful growth, and profitability
- "Horizon" – mid and long-term.
What We Need From You...
- Degree in fashion/interior design (BA or MA), or equivalent experience.
- In depth knowledge of the interior and/or retail industry and a strong sense of style and trends relevant to the target customer(s)
- Customer centric mindset with clear understanding of the target customer(s) and the relevant market segments
- Ability to combine a creative and strategic perspective in all parts of the process
- Proven ability and experience in successfully leading a large design team and experience in leading in development and change.
- Track record of high strategic and organizational skills to secure best design team for the future
- Experience of setting and follow-through a clear and strong visual direction to reach overall vision and goals
- Proven ability of proactively build a current, balanced and commercial assortment together with clear understanding of commercial trends and styling.
- Proven track record as a leader of successful cross collaboration with stakeholders
- Well-developed and demonstrated communication, and collaboration skills.
