Software Integration Engineer
to work on a project near
Stockholm, Sweden.

We are currently looking for a
Software Integration Engineer
to support ongoing development within the defence and naval systems domain. The role is part of a highly technical environment where system reliability, security, and performance are critical.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate and configure complex software systems in a Linux environment (Ubuntu / RedHat).
  • Set up and manage networks, including switches, routers, VLANs, and TCP/IP configurations.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and test teams to ensure seamless system performance.
  • Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis across multiple subsystems.
  • Automate configuration and verification tasks using Bash or Python scripting.
  • Support simulator environments and handle integration with third-party supplier products.
  • Document system configurations and contribute to the continuous improvement of integration processes.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong background working with Linux (Ubuntu / RedHat) systems.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (Switches, Routers, VLANs, TCP/IP).
  • Hands-on experience with Bash and/or Python scripting for automation.
  • Previous experience in system or software integration, ideally within defence, naval, or other safety-critical domains.
  • Ability to interpret software behaviour without being a full-time developer.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
