We are looking for: Mechanical Design and Maintenance Engineer

Are you an experienced engineer who wants to make a difference? We are now seeking a Lead Engineer – Generators for our Generator Engineering Service Team in Sweden. The team is an important part of the business and is responsible for supporting and improving the performance of our generator solutions – from maintenance and upgrades to technical advice and project management.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, develop long-term solutions, and contribute to the transition towards a greener energy future.

Your main responsibilities:

• Plan and document maintenance efforts for generators and handle technical issues during the work process.

• Contribute to projects involving repairs, rebuilds, and new manufacturing of generators.

• Support the sales team with technical insights and participate in customer meetings to identify and develop new business opportunities.

• Create and develop strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers, especially in local markets.

• Ensure that work environment and safety are always prioritized in design and maintenance processes.

• Participate in strategic initiatives to strengthen our position in generator service.

Who are you?

Requirements:

• University or Master's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Physics.

• Experience in design work – mechanics.

• Ability to work efficiently with technical tools and IT systems.

• Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Fluent English, both spoken and written.

Desirable qualities:

• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating in international and multicultural teams.

• Experience with generators – their operation, maintenance, and manufacturing.

• Ability to explain and simplify complex technical issues.

• Solution-oriented and pragmatic with a passion for customer service and technical development.

• Delta i strategiska initiativ för att stärka vår position inom generatorservice.

Vem är du?

Krav:

• Högskole- eller Civilingenjörsexamen eller motsvarande inom maskintteknik, eller tekniskfysik.
• Erfarenhet av konstruktionsarbete - mekanik
• Förmåga att arbeta effektivt med tekniska verktyg och IT-system.
• Flytande engelska, både i tal och skrift.

Meriterande egenskaper:

• Stark kommunikationsförmåga och vana att samarbeta i internationella och mångkulturella team.
• Erfarenhet av generatorer – deras drift, underhåll och tillverkning
• Förmåga att förklara och förenkla komplexa tekniska frågor.
• Lösningsorienterad och pragmatisk med en passion för kundservice och teknisk utveckling.
