Treasury Analyst

NOBA has experienced rapid growth over the years, and our Treasury function has evolved in both complexity and scope. As cash management becomes increasingly central to our daily operations, we are looking to strengthen our team with a Treasury Analyst who is eager to take ownership and help us stay ahead in our cash and FX management team.

The Treasury function is responsible for all funding, risk- and liquidity management and capital. It is centralized in Stockholm and is responsible for the entire Group. Funding includes structured funding, unsecured bonds, and deposits from the general public across multiple countries.

As a Treasury Analyst, you will play a key part in our Treasury department, working closely with colleagues to ensure NOBA always has the right liquidity in the right currency, at the right time. You will be responsible for managing cash and FX flows across multiple commercial and central banks, including the set-up and management of payment-, interest- and currency clearing systems and central bank settlements. You will also conduct results analysis, provide crucial support to the Back Office-, Business Control- and Accounting teams and carry out FX hedging activities.

Your daily work will include:

Monitoring and managing short-term liquidity, ensuring funds are available for payments to customers and partners.

Placing and moving funds between banks and accounts to optimize returns and meet regulatory requirements.

Conducting FX trading and hedging activities to manage currency risk.

Supporting Back Office-, Business Control- and Accounting teams with analysis and operational tasks.

Taking ownership of processes from start to finish – you'll see the impact of your work every day.

Building expertise in payment infrastructure, clearing systems, and cash pools to future-proof NOBA's Treasury function.

Who are you?

You have a university degree within Business administration, Economics, Law, Engineering or equivalent

You have at least two years' experience from a bank or financial institution, preferably a smaller one, either as an employee or consultant.

You have knowledge of payment infrastructure, clearing systems, and cash pools.

You are comfortable working in Excel and ideally have experience with a treasury system.

You speak and write fluently in English and Swedish/Norwegian.
