Headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe, we have grown to become the leading and most trusted company in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.
The Role
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join our expanding team. Key Responsibilities
- Cx Planning & Strategy: Support the development of the mechanical commissioning schedule and strategy in coordination with the wider Cx team and project stakeholders.
- Site Supervision: Monitor mechanical installation works to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations before testing begins.
- Testing & Witnessing: Supervise and witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Site Acceptance Tests (SATs), and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) for mechanical plant (e.g., Chillers, AHUs, CRAH units).
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with specialist subcontractors and equipment vendors to ensure they attend site as per the schedule and complete their scope of works.
- Documentation: Review and manage commissioning documentation, including Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Test Scripts, and Compliance Statements. Ensure all "Red Line" drawings and handover documentation are up to date.
- Defect Management: Actively monitor and snag contractor works; manage the snag list process (punch list) to ensure zero defects at handover.
- Coordination: Attend and provide input to daily/weekly commissioning meetings with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Health & Safety: Ensure all commissioning activities are carried out in strict accordance with the project's Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) requirements.

- Experience: Previous experience in a Commissioning or Mechanical Engineering role within a construction environment (Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, or Industrial experience is highly advantageous).
- Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and the "Design & Build" environment.
- BMS Knowledge: Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) is desirable but not essential.
- Communication: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment.
