As a Technology Lifecycle Management provider, we have an ambition to reduce e-waste by helping businesses to consume technology more sustainably. We offer an end-to-end approach to accessing, managing and refreshing IT devices that is cost-efficient, secure and environmentally friendly. Today we serve more than 3,000 customers worldwide and play an active role in the circular economy by refurbishing and reselling end of life IT devices. In doing so, we prevent over half a million devices from being destroyed and sent to landfill each year.

The role

Job title: Legal Trainee Sweden.

Reporting to: Head of Legal Sweden.

Job location: Stockholm.

Scope: Approx. 8 hours/week (1 full day or 2 half days). Flexible around studies.

Job role and purpose

As a Legal Trainee at 3stepIT in Sweden, you will gain hands-on experience working in a dynamic corporate legal environment. You will support a wide range of business areas and collaborate closely with the Head of Legal Sweden in day-to-day legal work across the Swedish Business Unit and occasionally supporting international business units outside of Sweden.

This is a practical role where you will develop your skills in commercial contract law, corporate governance, and legal analysis, while seeing how legal considerations influence real business decisions.

You will work with colleagues across departments – giving you insight into how legal guidance shapes both strategy and daily operations.

This role is well suited for a law student who is curious, proactive, structured, eager to learn and wants to build strong commercial legal skills alongside their studies.

Main responsibilities and tasks

Drafting, reviewing, and preparing standard contracts

Supporting the contract and document management process

Conducting legal research and preparing concise legal summaries

Updating and maintaining legal templates and internal guidelines

Assisting with translation and bilingual drafting (Swedish–English)

Administrative and organizational support within the legal function

Working closely with internal teams to ensure legal considerations are understood in business processes

Ideal candidate

Currently studying law (preferably year 2–4)

Strong written communication skills in both Swedish and English

Interest in commercial and contract law; other legal interests are a plus

Organized, thorough, and comfortable working independently when needed

Previous work experience from a law firm or in-house legal department is a plus but not required

A team player with strong social skills and a sense of humour

Able to start as soon as possible (exact date can be adapted to academic schedule)

You will be able to plan your work schedule according to your studies, and work additional time during summer and Holidays If desired
