We develop software that is central to how transport companies plan and operate electrified heavy-duty truck fleets. Our systems are designed to be used daily as part of our customers' core transport operations, and directly influence how planning and execution decisions are made.

Our mission is to create the shift to a sustainable transport system through better planning and use of transportation resources. The software we build is a key enabler of that shift and must therefore be correct, predictable, and efficient in real use.
In this role, you will design, implement, and evolve both algorithms and the systems that run them. You will work with optimization problems such as routing, charging, and fleet-level planning, and take responsibility for how these solutions behave in production — from modeling and algorithmic choices to operational reliability.

The role comes with real technical responsibility and the expectation that you actively influence technical direction and solution design.

• Design, implement, and evolve optimization algorithms for routing, charging, and fleet-level planning
• Work with algorithmically hard problems such as electric vehicle routing, resource-constrained planning, and large-scale re-optimization
• Translate algorithmic ideas into systems that behave predictably and efficiently in production
• Own and evolve backend services that integrate vehicle models, infrastructure constraints, and geospatial data
• Influence system architecture, algorithmic approach, and operational behaviour
• Take responsibility for solutions from formulation to production use
  
  

You are an experienced software engineer with a strong computer science foundation and a background in building complex systems.

You are comfortable with:

• Algorithms and data structures as daily engineering tools
• Reasoning about complexity, performance, and trade-offs
• Designing algorithms that must work under real-world constraints
• Writing code intended to be maintained, extended, and relied upon over time
• Experience with optimization-heavy systems, algorithmic problem solving, competitive programming, or similar CS-intensive environments is highly relevant.

The team has full ownership of technical direction, including algorithmic choices, system architecture, and technology stack. Senior engineers are expected to actively shape decisions rather than execute predefined solutions.

Our problem domain is informed by scientific research, and we collaborate closely with academic partners. Research is used as input, but success is measured by behaviour in production.
