Your role as a Site Supervisor 6 - 8 months

The Site Supervisor Manager MHE
is responsible for supervising and managing all the installation and commissioning works related to the Material Handling Equipment on site.

The SS/SM is regarded as the NewCold representative on-site and in the on-site coordination meetings.

The SS/SM will be trained by MHE team and automation team before start of the project.

The role consists of the following main tasks:

• Understand safety requirements of that country and site-specific ones and coordinate method statements per supplier.

• • Ensure that storage areas for parts and site containers are available for all MHE suppliers
• • Verify and arrange site and work requirements all MHE suppliers.
• • Act as first point of contact for the site supervisors of all MHE specialist contractors.

Each supplier will have a separate site supervisor.

Verify progress of predecessor activities by all the suppliers on site, and the site conditions for the start and progress of all MHE suppliers, including any interactions with other suppliers like General Contractor and their subcontractors

Manage MHE installation execution and on-site installation planning.

Progress reporting.

Forecasting future work.

Maintain interaction with GC and subs.

o
Focus on having certain upcoming milestones like ''Mechanical ready'' and later '' Electrical ready'' cleared on time.

Follow up on action items

Support MHE PM on Onsite Progress report / Open pointslist / Quality checklist

1. • Inform the PM MHE about deviations, irregularities, non-conformities.
2. • Perform quality checks and ensure all works are in full compliance with the NewCold standards.

o
Coordinate issues with MHE Engineer, E&I Engineer and Project Engineer and make sure that these will be mitigated, and the lead time of these mitigations are kept within the project plan.

1. • Stock Management for NCA (internal electrical, PLC and MFCS supplier) specific:

o Reception and storage of goods

o Stock control (Check stock levels and act adequately)

o Handing out materials and tools.

1. • Detailed day-to-day scheduling of electrical installation and IO check works
2. • Collect/check hour sheets from NCA subs. (#hours performed/# of people on-site)
3. • Detailed progress tracking of I/O works
4. • Safety certificate / performing toolbox meeting valid for the related country rules

Excluded tasks:

Details/quality checks on I/O testing and PLC commissioning, special equipment: Lifts, I-Points, Stackers, etc. Adjusting sensors, checking motor direction, overall schedule and progress in the master schedule, contractual/legal related items.

Please note this is a temporary assignment for 6 - 8 month; besides the relevant experience matching the requirements above, Swedish language is mandatory.
