Our world is in the midst of an energy transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources. At Qvantum, we have developed a solution to tackle a difficult challenge that no one has been able to solve before – how to enable the many people in the big cities to live a life without dependence on fossil fuels for heating and cooling at an affordable price. We have developed a wide range of smart heat pump solutions built on modern software. The products are suitable for everything from small apartments to large property complexes and entire residential blocks. The next generation of heat pumps are not only very energy efficient but also designed to be an active node in the electrical grid. Qvantum has developed a series of new capabilities for this purpose including our heat pump to grid (HP2G), flexready, thermal battery and digital doctor features.
We are currently more than 350 colleagues, located in 8 different countries, and we continue to grow at a rapid pace. The role
We are seeking for an experienced International Sales and New Markets Manager with a strong commercial background. In this role you will drive the expansion of our distributor network and identify growth opportunities across Europe and beyond. You'll play a key role in strengthening our international presence and your mission is to develop strategic partnerships in the single-dwelling units segment (SDU), as well as leading our entry into the growing multi-dwelling unit (MDU) segment—bringing sustainable heating solutions to the cities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the international distributor strategy across Europe with full Sales responsibility for the organization
- Identify and establish new sales channels and partnerships in target countries
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory frameworks to identify new opportunities
- Drive sales performance and support local distributors with business planning, training, and marketing initiatives
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, R&D, After Sales and Marketing to align market needs with product development
- Support the company's ambition to enter the MDU segment with tailored sales and go-to-market strategies
- Build a team that can grow sales quickly. Responsibility to lead, manage and develop the competence of the team to take a leading role in their markets
- Provide guidance and mentorship to develop a collaborative, down to earth and get it done culture, that drives performance together with other Qvantum entities across Europe.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of international sales experience, ideally within HVAC, renewable energy, or building technology
- Experience from an expansion/scale up phase and proven track record of implementing a successful market strategy driving revenue growth.
- Proven track record of managing distributors or partners across multiple countries
- Strong business development and negotiation skills
- Experience from working with heat pumps or energy-efficient solutions
- Strategic mindset with hands-on sales drive and commercial acumen
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel regularly within Europe
