Master Data Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Master Data Specialist for our client to support a major system implementation and data migration initiative. The role focuses on ensuring high data quality, correctness, and business alignment throughout the migration process.
Responsibilities
- Act as the business-facing key person for data migration, quality assurance, and implementation support.
- Verify and validate migrated data from a business perspective, including comparison of exports from legacy and new systems.
- Perform hands-on data cleansing and corrections directly in the systems.
- Drive structured and methodical working processes, even when input from the business is delayed.
- Proactively propose data corrections and improvements and align them with stakeholders.
- Work closely with test leads and other key project members.
- Utilize AI tools to optimize and streamline daily work.
- Analyze and manage data using Excel.
Required Skills & Experience
- Practical experience working with master data, preferably in SAP and EPPM environments.
- Proven experience in data migration and data validation projects.
- Hands-on experience in data cleansing and corrections.
- Strong analytical and structured working style with high persistence.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
- Good proficiency in using AI tools for efficiency and automation.
- Strong Excel skills for data handling and analysis.
- Ability to collaborate closely with test management and project stakeholders.
- Fluent in both Swedish and English.
- Experience from maintenance operations and data migration projects is required.
