We're looking for a structured and detail-driven Product Developer Assistant to support our Apparel Team in Åre — with a specific focus on color management, product data accuracy, and development support across the full garment lifecycle.

In this role, you will work closely with Product Developers, Designers, and Material Specialists to ensure our seasonal color palettes, materials, and product data are correct, approved, and delivered on time to suppliers. This is a development-focused role where precision, coordination, and communication — both internally and with our global team — are key.

As part of the Klättermusen Apparel Team, your responsibilities will include:

Product Development Support

Assist in building and maintaining tech packs, BOMs, measurement charts, and spec sheets

Prepare and update product documentation throughout proto, SMS, and production stages

Conduct measurements and evaluations on size sets and Pre-Production Samples (PPS)

Approve and seal PPS after thorough assessment, and send sealed PPS to suppliers

Track sample status and follow up with suppliers on deadlines, changes, and corrections

Participate in fit reviews, collect comments, and document development changes

Support internal testing processes (materials, construction checks, lab tests)

Color & Material Coordination

Assist with seasonal color development, material updates, and lab dips

Track and evaluate color submissions from suppliers (lab dips, strike-offs, bulk trim cards)

Help ensure seasonal palettes are consistent across categories and factories

Maintain color data, naming systems, and approvals within PLM

Support designers with colorway sketches, material details, and seasonal line documentation

Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and related documentation to support seasonal product transitions

Help prepare final color/material files for production handover

You'll report directly to the Apparel Development Lead and collaborate with Product Developers, Designers, Material Specialists, and the Hardware team.

The experience you'll bring to the role is:

Degree in Apparel/Product Development, Textile Engineering, or similar field

Understanding of garment construction, materials, and development processes

Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator (technical drawings, color callouts)

Experience with PLM or similar product data systems

Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail — especially with data and color

Ability to track multiple deadlines and follow up proactively

Comfortable communicating with international suppliers and global teams

Interest in functional outdoor apparel, technical materials, and performance fabrics

A genuine curiosity for color accuracy, testing, and visual precision
