Head of Operations

As Head of Operations, you play a key role in driving NA-KD's growth and profitability by ensuring operational excellence across inbound, fulfillment, and last mile. You will make sure products reach customers seamlessly, on time, at the right cost, and with the highest quality, supporting our ambition to deliver an exceptional brand experience at every touchpoint.

As a strategic partner to core business functions, you will secure capacity, scalability, and operational efficiency to match commercial ambitions. By combining structure, speed, and continuous improvement, you'll build the operational backbone that allows NA-KD to grow sustainably and stay customer-obsessed.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and develop all operational functions (Inbound, Fulfillment, Last Mile) to ensure a cost-efficient, scalable, and brand-aligned setup.
• Optimize the operational structure in close collaboration with our 3PL partner to secure flexibility, efficiency, and consistent brand execution.
• Translate company and COO direction into operational excellence by ensuring the right timing, capacity, and cost control in close partnership with Purchasing, Commercial, Finance, and Tech.
• Continuously improve lead times, delivery precision, logistics cost per order, and service levels to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Secure operational readiness for campaigns, launches, and peak periods through smart capacity planning and strong cross-functional alignment.
• Take full people responsibility for the Operations team, including recruitment, performance, development, and engagement, to build a strong and future-fit organization.
• Lead and coach the team to foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring a high-performing and agile operations function.
• Challenge the status quo and drive innovation to keep the organization fast, agile, and future-focused.
• Take a holistic view of the value chain and collaborate closely with Purchasing and Marketing to identify new ways to streamline, optimize, and create business impact.
• Lead process optimization, automation, and sustainable practices to support long-term scalability and profitability.
• Prepare board material together with the COO and present when required, ensuring clear operational insights and alignment with company strategy.

Your Past & Your Skills

Must-haves:

• 5+ years experience in leading large-scale operational functions (inbound, fulfillment, logistics or similar) in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Strong track record of driving operational efficiency, cost optimization, and service level improvements.
• Leadership skills with experience in managing, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams.
• Strategic and hands-on mindset, able to move between big-picture thinking and daily operational execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make fact-based decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and drive collaboration across functions.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in working with tech and data-driven solutions to optimize operations.
• Previous experience from e-commerce, retail, or other consumer-focused industries.
