Usability Engineer

Professional Galaxy is looking for a Usability Engineer for one of our clients.

Responsibilities:

Conduct user research, including interviews, observations and usability testing, to identify user needs.
Design the user experience with our common design system as a solid foundation.
Collaborate with the product development team to define user interface requirements and design specifications.
Execute usability testing, analyze data, and provide actionable recommendations to improve the user experience.
Conduct risk assessments related to the use of the device.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in usability engineering and human factors.
Requirements:

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction design, Human Factors Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in conducting user research and usability testing.
Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma is an advantage.
Experience of medical device industry is an advantage. As well as familiarity with regulatory standards and guidelines related to medical device usability (e.g. IEC 62366 and FDA Human Factors Engineering Guidance).

Medtech experience is a plus.

Startdate:

Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension
