Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Penetration Tester to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Perform penetration testing of automotive infotainment systems, including head units, infotainment ECUs, connectivity modules, and other embedded vehicle systems
  • Identify, exploit, and document vulnerabilities across hardware, software, network, and wireless interfaces
  • Conduct threat modeling, attack surface analysis, and security reviews for infotainment and connected car features
  • Analyze firmware, logs, system traces, and network traffic to identify security weaknesses
  • Execute wireless security testing across Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, and hotspot technologies
  • Perform security assessments aligned with industry standards such as OWASP, PTES, ISO/SAE 21434, and UNECE R155
  • Develop custom scripts, tools, and test methodologies to support penetration testing activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to provide security recommendations and support remediation planning
  • Produce clear, structured vulnerability reports and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders

What you bring:

  • Strong understanding of automotive infotainment architectures and connected vehicle systems
  • Hands-on experience with penetration testing of embedded, IoT, or automotive systems
  • Practical experience testing head units, telematics units, connectivity ECUs, or similar embedded platforms
  • Solid knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, and UDS diagnostics
  • Experience working with hardware test benches, rigs, and development units
  • Proficiency with penetration testing and security analysis tools including Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Kali Linux tools, and Nessus
  • Experience with reverse engineering and firmware analysis using tools such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, QEMU, Binwalk, and JTAG/SWD
  • Knowledge of Android and Linux security in infotainment or embedded environments
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, with the ability to develop custom exploits or automation scripts
  • Programming knowledge in C/C++, Java, or Kotlin is an advantage
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and regulations such as OWASP, PTES, NIST, ISO/SAE 21434, and UNECE R155
