Working as a software engineer
In this role, the team's primary focus is addressing the needs of our Scandinavian customers – those closest to us. We call this 'local development.' Together with our end-users, we create solutions that simplify their everyday workflows. Many solutions are tailor-made to meet the expectations of a specific market or a unique customer, enhancing the experience of Sectra's core offering.

What you will do:

  • Own products and features end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, documentation, and support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users, to translate clinical needs into robust solutions
  • Deliver software with a short release cycle and a fast-paced feedback loop
  • Be part of a team that shares knowledge, coaches each other and give feedback to improve
  • Continuously learn and evaluate new tools, methodologies, and frameworks
  • Apply AI tools (e.g. code assistants, code generators) responsibly to increase velocity without compromising quality, security, or cost

The local development team consists of a tight-knit group of ten developers. With our base in Linköping, we work alongside many of Sectra's other development teams, collaborating toward shared goals and supporting one another.
