- Experience in an OSP-focused role within the telecommunications or network infrastructure industry (e.g., OSP Engineer, Fiber Project Manager, OSP Construction Manager).
- Experience with Inside Plant (ISP) fiber optic infrastructure, including design, installation, and testing within data centers, In-line Amplifier (ILA) sites, or colocation facilities.
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Certification in formal project management such as PMP, Prince 2, PMI Agile, or Certified Scrum Master.
- Experience with industry-specific tools, including project management software, network acquisition tools like Salesforce, and workflow management systems like Pega.
- Experience with agile or other process improvement frameworks, showcasing cross-functional agility and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience with both Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) fiber optic infrastructure.
- Knowledge of dark fiber, network infrastructure, ISP/OSP network architecture, network topology, and field deployment.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure projects involving long haul dark fiber, metro fiber, leased capacity/circuits, Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) fiber from inception through delivery.
- Review, interpret, and validate Fiber designs (OSP/ISP) and engineering plans, including fiber routing, conduit infrastructure, splice schematics, rack layouts, and points of interface.
- Act as the primary contact for vendors, managing their performance, and escalating issues when necessary. Coordinate with a wide range of internal teams and external entities like municipalities and colocation providers.
