Area Account Manager Spine – Johnson & Johnson Västra Götaland /Skåne/Kalmar, Sweden
J&J Orthopedics Spine is market leader within the Spine segment in Sweden. To maintain and develop our position further we are now recruiting an Area Account Manager for J&J Orthopedics Spine south part of Sweden, Västra Götaland, Skåne, and Kalmar, to bring this business to the next level.

Join Johnson & Johnson Orthopedics, a market leader in the Spine segment in Sweden, as an Area Account Manager for Spine.This is an exciting opportunity to enhance our position in the south of Sweden, specifically in the regions of Västra Götaland, Skåne, and Kalmar.
As the Area Account Manager, you will have full ownership of your territory, engaging directly with doctors, nurses, and other key stakeholders to drive growth and expand our market presence. This role is perfect for individuals who are relationship-oriented, innovative, and possess a strategic mindset to capitalize on new opportunities.
Objectives of the Position
- Take full responsibility and be accountable for the overall business performance for your product portfolio including draw commercial conclusions and take appropriate action.
- Establish and execute sales strategies to achieve the budget in your territory.
- Gain and retain excellent relationships with our customers and relevant KOLs.
- You will train and educate the users in product related matters, attend surgeries and keep an overall professional service level to the customers.
- Continue to develop the existing business and identify new possibilities within your territory.
- Conduct business activities in compliance with ethics, legal requirements and JnJ policies.
Qualifications
- Experience in any or several of sales in medical device or any relevant background in the medical device industry/hospital/medical background (e.g. salesperson, or-nurse, physiotherapist or similar)
- Preferred to live in Västra Götaland region.
- Knowledge of the orthopedic and medical device environment in general and the Spine business in particular is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both in writing and the spoken language.
- You have a high level of social skills and are communicative.
- Professional and business minded.

The candidate must be able to act with short notice and handle several parallel ongoing customer activities. On October 14, 2025, Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
It is anticipated following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes, and your employment would be governed by Orthopaedics employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. Details of any planned changes would be provided to you by Orthopaedics at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
