We are searching for a java developer to join our team at Digpro's headquarters in Stockholm. We're expanding to new markets and investing more than ever in our products – we need your help to succeed. Our products support essential public services and have a long life span which requires high quality and a special focus on the maintainability of the code.
About The Job
As a java developer at Digpro you are part of a team dedicated to develop and maintain the products and modules assigned to the team. You work closely together with other developers and collaborate with other roles such as product owners, UX-designers, testers and technical writers.

Your day to day work will include programming, time estimations, designing technical solutions, code review and technical documentation. Digpro is a growing company, aiming to find scalable solutions for both products and processes, you will be a part of this exciting transformation.

As you gain experience in our technical stack, architecture and our products, you will also gain responsibilities within technical areas of the code and applications as well as responsibilities in mentoring junior colleagues.

You will

• Be developing and maintaining systems for important societal functions
• Create integrations with other systems
• Be part of a supporting and inventive team
• Perform time estimations for development tasks
• Do code reviews and automated unit tests
• Write technical documentation and "Howtos"
• Demonstrate developed features
• Be part of the third line technical support

We are looking for you who have:

• A curious and positive attitude
• A relevant education in computer science.
• Good knowledge in Java and SQL
• Experience of Java Swing is an advantage
• Good theoretical foundation in your programming skills
• Analytics skills and knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• An open mind regarding new ideas, needs, requirements and opportunities in a changing world
• Interest in constructive discussions regarding opportunities and solutions together with several different stakeholders
