Overview

Are you interested in game development and being part of a AAA studio? Are you prepared to embark on a journey and and take your first steps into the game industry?

MachineGames in Sweden, Uppsala is interested in hearing from bright, new talent that is currently enrolled in a school that requires LiA or an internship to finish their degree as a final part of their education. The internship applications we are currently open for are: 2 Technical level designers.

Our technical level designers are responsible for prototyping, scripting, and implementing new gameplay systems for our levels. They also support with level markup in collaboration with gameplay programmers, tech art, and other designers.

This is an unpaid internship and eligibilty for this position requires the abilty to commute to our studio and be in-office during your internship period. You must also be enrolled in a school that is governmentally supported and/or if you recieve governmental funding/loans for your study period.

Qualifications

  • Online portfolio
  • Documentation supporting you are currently enrolled in a school with a focus on your study field
  • CV and Cover Letter - in English
  • Excellent written and verbal communications in English

Nice to have:
- Experience with visual and text-based scripting
- Experience with vector math
- Experience with traditional level design
