About the Role

We're looking for a Senior SAP ME Consultant (SDK Expert) to support a major global manufacturing client onsite in Stockholm, driving end-to-end MES implementations, system extensions, and connectivity across SAP ME, MII, PCo, ECC/HANA, and enterprise-level production systems.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end SAP ME implementation projects across multiple modules
  • Customize SAP ME using SDK extensions, deploying complex functionalities
  • Configure master data, ODS/GODS objects, and data models
  • Integrate SAP ME with SAP ECC/HANA, SAP MII, CPI-DS, SDI, and SAP PCo
  • Build technical components using J2EE, JSP, EJB, JavaScript
  • Support MES lifecycle across SAP ME, SAP NW, and machine connectivity
  • Drive requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design
  • Work with SQL databases (MS-SQL/Oracle) for MES operations
  • Troubleshoot hardware interfaces (RF scanners, printers, tablets)
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams under Agile/Scrum

Qualifications

  • 12–15 years of MES experience with multiple SAP ME implementations

Required Skills

  • Expert in SAP ME SDK customization and custom functionality deployment
  • Strong understanding of SAP ME modules, ODS/GODS, and MES data flows
  • Hands-on experience integrating SAP ME with ECC/HANA, MII, CPI-DS, SDI, PCo
  • Strong grounding in J2EE technologies and enterprise architecture
  • Comfortable working onsite in Stockholm (Drottninggatan) as needed
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Able to operate independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and own technical delivery
