Your roleAs an Initiative Driver, you will run end-to-end initiatives from requirements, design, development, through deployment, defining scope, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans. You will plan, budget, monitor, and report on initiative execution across the lifecycle, acting as the bridge between leadership, stakeholders, and delivery teams. You'll establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing clear, regular updates and change visibility.
What you'll do
Lead initiatives from definition through deployment, including scope, schedule, budget estimates, and implementation plans with risk mitigation
Plan and implement initiatives, define tasks and resources & create schedules and timelines
Establish processes for managing scope and quality; assess and communicate risks
Monitor progress against timelines and budgets & take corrective action where needed
Prepare and present status reports and insights to stakeholders and leadership
Implement and manage changes to meet agreed deliverables
Build positive relationships with business owners and stakeholders and communicate progress regularly
Work in close collaboration with Solution Team Lead and other members of the team
Identify and manage initiative risks and issues to protect outcomes
We are looking for an experienced professional with a minimum of 3–5 years of expertise in leading projects and portfolios across digital solutions, data engineering/data science, or IT solutions. Your delivery toolkit should include strong project and portfolio management skills, a solid Agile and Scaled Agile mindset, hands-on experience with Jira and ServiceNow, and a working knowledge of SAFe and ITIL.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, is essential. You should possess an executive presence, characterised by a senior communication style that can influence and align stakeholders, simplify complexity, and make confident, data-informed decisions.
Your leadership style should be collaborative, charismatic, and relentlessly outcomes-oriented. You should be able to build trust, clarity, and momentum across cross-functional teams.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
