Position: Procurement Category Manager OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)

What is the opportunity?

We are now looking for a Category Manager OEM to join our team and contribute to our success

As a Category Manager you will be a key member of the Procurement OEM team. Your mission is to establish new ways of working between Procurement and other functions (such as Product Management and Sales) in the area of OEM Management, leveraging your previous experience. You will also maintain Supplier Relationship Management within this category and use your knowledge of purchasing and the OEM market.

As Category Manager (OEM) you will be responsible for:

• Communicating with internal stakeholders and top management (VP, CEO) to align strategies for OEMs
• Collaborating daily and building strong relationship with suppliers and internal stakeholders on OEM management
• Developing and implementing global sourcing processes and strategies for the OEM category in cooperation with Marketing and SSUs

• Creating and developing strategic roadmaps for the category based on identified risks and opportunities

• Leading global sourcing projects (Supplier selection, RFI and RFQ / TCO cost-down development)

• Managing strategic supplier selection, monitoring and KPIs

• Working with Marketing and SSUs to enable the development of competitive new product portfolio

Skills you will need:

• Excellent communication skills and experience engaging with top management (VP, CEO)
• Minimum 7 years of procurement experience in a production company with a global scope, including 3-5 years in category management (knowledge of toolbox, cost models)
• Strong expertise in building category strategies
• Experience leading and coaching multinational, cross-functional teams in dedicated projects
• Ability to build cross-functional processes between Procurement and other functions

• Proven track record in OEM Sourcing, negotiations, and contract management

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Business

• Fluency in English

Industry knowledge of market, materials, and production processes will be considered an additional asset.
