Job Title: Data Engineering with AI

Total Experience Required: 6+ years in Information Technology/Computers/Software

Relevant Experience Required: 4+ years in data engineering with a strong foundation in AI and machine learning integration.

Contract Duration: A minimum duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension up to 18 months or beyond, depending on project requirements.

Workplace Type: Hybrid (at least 3 times a week at office)

Languages Required: English

Visa/Work Authorization Status: Candidates must hold a valid work permit or visa to work in Sweden

Work Location: Stockholm, Sweden

  1. Must be currently based in Sweden or
  2. Willing to relocate to Sweden from anywhere within Europe or the UK
  3. Candidates outside Europe/UK unfortunately cannot be considered

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and manage scalable data pipelines and architectures to support AI/ML solutions.
  • Develop and implement data models, warehouses, and lakes for analytics and business intelligence.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to create high-quality datasets for AI model training, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across all systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver effective data-driven solutions.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies in AI, LLMs, and data engineering.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven expertise in ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data lake design.
  • Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
  • Proficiency in Python for data engineering and AI/ML applications.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, MLOps, and experience with LLMs (OpenAI API, Claude, LLaMA, Mistral, etc.).
  • Experience with data tools including Databricks, Kafka, LangChain, and LlamaIndex.
  • Knowledge of fine-tuning techniques such as LoRA and PEFT.

Optional Skills:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Exposure to AI-driven data analytics or business intelligence frameworks.
