We are looking for an Employment Law Lawyer to join our HR Legal function in Stockholm. You will report to the Head of HR Legal Sweden & Finland, Jesper Eiskonen, and be part of HR Sweden, which consists of 11 colleagues working across different areas of HR. If you have a few years of relevant experience and you thrive in a collaborative, international environment, we want to hear from you
About the Role
You will be part of a dedicated HR Legal team supporting our business across the Nordics. Our team works closely with HR and business leaders, providing legal advice and guidance on a broad range of employment law matters. Every day in this position brings new challenges, as you collaborate with various stakeholders and respond to diverse situations. We value a flat structure, open doors, and a supportive, informal atmosphere where knowledge sharing and teamwork are key.
Some of the matters that you will handle include;
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Employment contracts and policies
- Employee relations and personnel cases
- Collective agreements and negotiations
- Reward and compensation legal issues
- GDPR and data privacy in HR
- Compliance and outsourcing
Some days will focus on collaboration and engagement with diverse stakeholders, while others will involve developing new processes or improving existing ones to ensure they remain relevant and effective. Additionally, you will contribute to cross-border projects and internal training.
What We're Looking For
You are skilled at analysing situations, taking responsibility, and identifying top priorities. You're a true team player, proficient in navigating changes as they occur, and consistently maintain professionalism. With the many different stakeholders, we see that it is vital that you have strong communication and negotiation skills. Moreover, you enjoy participating in business decisions and engaging with people from diverse backgrounds.
We expect you to have:
- A Master of Laws (LL.M.) or equivalent, with a focus on employment/labour law
- Several years of relevant experience in employment law—either in-house, in a law firm, or in a similar HR Legal function
- In addition to Swedish, professional proficiency in English
- Experience with union negotiations and understanding of the Swedish model of co-determination would be valued
